The subheadings and superior text are set forth In columnar format, and material In such columns Is Inserted In the columns of the HTS designated "Heading/Subheading", "Article Description", "Rates of Duty 1 General", "Rates of Duty 1 Special" and "Rates of Duty 2", respectively. Effective with respect to foods entered, or withdrawn from warehouse for consumption, on or after January 1. 1995 (except as otherwise noted In this secti on^. (1). General note 1 to the HTS Is modified by (a) inserting after "Goods" in the note title the phrase "and of Vessel Equipments. Parts and Repairs", (b) by inserting after "thereof" the phrase ", and all vessel equipments, parts, mate rials and r epairs covered by the provisions of subchapter XV Ill to chapter 98 of this schedule,", and (c) by deleting "general notes 3 through 13, inclusive." and by Inserting "general notes 3 through 14, inclusive, and general note 16." in lieu thereof.
