R. Ogden in July, eighteen hundred and forty-six, under requisition of the governor of that State, to resist incursions of the Cherokee Indians: Provided, that the amount so to be paid shall not exceed the sum of twelve hundred and twelve dollars. _ _ Sec. 10.
