DEFINITIONS. 22 USC 2651 In this Act: (1) APPROPRIATE CONGRESSIONAL COMMITTEES. — The term "appropriate congressional committees" means the Committee on Foreign Relations of the Senate and the Committee on International Relations of the House of Representatives. (2) DEPARTMENT.— The term "Department" means the Department of State. (3) SECRETARY.— Except as otherwise provided, the term "Secretary" means the Secretary of State.
