Worth, Texas, to provide school-based mental health education to schools in Tarrant County, $200,000 is available for the AIDS Research Institute at the University of California, San Francisco for a Developing Country Medical Program to facilitate clinician exchange between the United States and developing countries, $1,000,000 is available for the Geisinger Health System, Harrisburg, PA, to establish centers of excellence for the treatment of autism’’. SEC. 2501. Section 207 of the Departments of Labor, Health and Human Services, and Education, and Related Agencies Appropriations Act, 2003 (Public Law 108–7; division G) is amended by striking ‘‘or any other’’.

INTERNATIONAL HEALTH ACTIVITIES
SEC. 2502. (a) In addition to the authority provided in section 215 of the Departments of Labor, Health and Human Services, and Education, and Related Agencies Appropriations Act, 2003 (Public Law 108–7, division G), in order for the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention to carry out international health activities, including HIV/AIDS and other infectious disease, chronic and environmental disease, and other health activities abroad during fiscal year 2003, the Secretary of Health and Human Services may exercise authority equivalent to that available to the Secretary of State in section 2(c) of the State Department Basic Authorities Act of 1956 (22 U.S.C. 2669(c)). (b) The Secretary of Health and Human Services shall consult with the Secretary of State and relevant Chief of Mission to ensure that the authority provided in this section is exercised in a manner consistent with section 207 of the Foreign Service Act of 1980 (22 U.S.C. 3927) and other applicable statutes administered by the Department of State.
