‘‘(3) A UTHORIZA TIO NPE RIO DS .— T he Secretary shall estab - lish specific time periods during which authorization to accept and redeem benefits shall be valid under the supplemental nutrition assistance program.’’; and (C) in subsection (g), by striking ‘‘section 3(g)(9)’’ and inserting ‘‘section 3(k)(9)’’. (7) Section 10 of the Food and Nutrition Act of 2008 (7 U.S.C. 2019) is amended— (A) by striking the section designation and heading and all that follows through ‘‘ R egulations’’ and inserting the following: ‘ ‘ SEC.10 . R E D E MPTION O F PRO G R A M B ENEFITS. ‘‘Regulations’’; (B) by striking ‘‘section 3(k)(4) of this Act’’ and inserting ‘‘section 3(p)(4)’’; (C) by striking ‘‘section 7(i)’’ and inserting ‘‘section 7(h)’’; and ( D ) by striking ‘‘coupons’’ each place it appears and inserting ‘‘benefits’’.
