(a)COVERAG EO FAD D IT IO N A LP REVENTIVE S ERVI C E S.— ( 1 ) COVERAGE.—S ection 1 86 1o f t h e Socia l Sec ur it y Act ( 42U .S.C. 1 395x ) , a s a m en d ed b y section 114 of the M edicare, Medicaid, and SC HI P E xtension Act of 2 0 0 7 (Public L a w 110 – 173), is amended— (A) in subsection (s)(2)— (i) in sub p ara g raph ( Z ), by stri k ing ‘ ‘and ’ ’ after the semicolon at the end

(ii) in subparagraph (AA), by adding ‘‘and’’ after the semicolon at the end; and (iii) by adding at the end the following new subparagraph

‘‘( B B) additional pre v entive services (described in sub - section (ddd)(1));’’; and (B) by adding at the end the following new subsection: ‘‘Additional Preventive Services ‘‘(ddd)(1) T he term ‘additional preventive services’ means serv- ices not otherwise described in this title that identify medical condi- tions or risk factors and that the Secretary determines are— ‘‘(A) reasonable and necessary for the prevention or early detection of an illness or disability; ‘‘(B) recommended with a grade of A or B by the United States Preventive Services Task F orce; and
