(a) EXTENSION OF AUTHORITY.—Subsection (a) of section 1205 of the J ohn W arner N ational Defense Authori z ation Act for F iscal Y ear 200 7 ( P ublic L aw 10 9– 3 64
- 1202 Stat. 2416) is amended by
striking ‘‘fiscal year 2007’’ and inserting ‘‘fiscal years 2007 and 200 8 ’’. (b) LIMITATION ON AMOUNTS A V AILA B LE FOR PARTICIPATION.— Subsection (e) of such section is amended by striking paragraph (2) and inserting the following new paragraph: ‘‘(2) LIMITATION ON AMOUNT.—The amount available under paragraph (1)(A) for the expenses referred to in that paragraph may not exceed— ‘‘(A) in fiscal year 2007, $ 3,000,000; and ‘‘( B ) in fiscal year 2008, $5,000,000.’’. (c) R EPORTS.—Subsection (g) of such section is amended— (1) in paragraph (1)— (A) by inserting ‘‘and O ctober 31, 2008,’’ after ‘‘October 31, 2007,’’; and (B) by striking ‘‘fiscal year 2007’’ and inserting ‘‘fiscal years 2007 and 2008’’; and (2) in paragraph (2)(A), by striking ‘‘during fiscal year 2007’’ and inserting ‘‘during the preceding fiscal year’’.
