‘(i v ) T his subparagraph shall apply with respect to violations that relate to reporting periods that begin on or after J anuary 1 , 2000, and that end on or before D ecember 31, 2013. ’ ’. (b) CONFOR M IN G AMEN D MENT.—Section 6 40 of the Treasury and G eneral Government Appropriations Act, 2000 ( P ublic L aw 106 –58; 2 U.S.C. 437g note) is amended by stri k ing subsection (c). (c) EFFE C TI V ED A TE.—The amendments made by this section shall take effect as if included in the enactment of the Treasury and General Government Appropriations Act, 2000.
