Whereas on June 27, 2005, the House of Representatives agreed to House Concurrent Resolution 1 8 8ofthe10 9 th Congress, fur - ther honoring the victims of that terrorist bombing; Whereas those guilty of carrying out the attac k have yet to be brought to j ustice; and Whereas terrorism remains a constant and ever-present threat around the world

ow, therefore, be it Resolv e dbyth e H o u seo f Re pr ese n t a t i ves ( the S enate c oncur - rin g),T hat, on the occasion of the 12th anniversary of the terrorist bombing of the K hobar Towers U nited States military housing compound in D hahran, Saudi A rabia, Congress —( 1 ) recogni z es the service and sacrifice of the 19 members of the United States Air F orce who died in that attack; (2) calls upon every American to pause and pay tribute to those brave airmen; ( 3 )e x tends its continued sympathies to the families of those who died; and ( 4 ) assures the members of the Armed Forces serving any- where in the world that their well-being and interests will at all times be given the highest priority . ADJOURNME N T—H OU S EO F RE P RESENTAT IV ES AND SENATE Resolved by the House of Representatives (the Senate concur- ring), That when the House adjourns on the legislative day of Thursday, June 26, 2008, or Friday, June 27, 2008, on a motion offered pursuant to this concurrent resolution by its M ajority L eader or his designee, it stand adjourned until 2 p.m. on Tuesday, July 8, 2008, or until the time of any reassembly pursuant to section 2 of this concurrent resolution, whichever occurs first; and that when the Senate recesses or adjourns on any day from Thursday, June 26, 2008, through Friday, July 4, 2008, on a motion offered pursuant to this concurrent resolution by its Majority Leader or his designee, it stand recessed or adjourned until noon on Monday, July 7, 2008, or such other time on that day as may be specified in the motion to recess or adjourn, or until the time of any re- assembly pursuant to section 2 of this concurrent resolution, which- ever occurs first.
