( a ) E XTENSIO N. —S ection 208 of the Andean Trade Preference Act ( 19U .S. C . 3 20 6 ) is amended by stri k in g ‘‘ F ebr u ary 29 , 2008’’ and inserting ‘‘ D ecember 31, 2008’’. (b) T R E A T M ENT O F CERTAIN A P PARE L ARTI C LES.—Section 20 4 (b)(3) of the Andean Trade Preference Act (19 U.S.C. 3203(b)(3)( B )) is amended— (1) in sub p aragraph (B)— (A)inc l ause (iii)— (i) in subclause ( I I), by striking ‘‘ 5 succeeding 1- year periods’’ and inserting ‘‘6 succeeding 1-year periods’’
and (ii) in subclause (III)(bb), by inserting ‘‘and for the succeeding 1-year period,’’ after ‘‘for the 1-year period beginning O ctober 1, 200 7 ,’’; and (B) in clause ( v )(II), by striking ‘‘4 succeeding 1-year periods’’ and inserting ‘‘5 succeeding 1-year periods’’; and (2) in subparagraph (E)(ii)(II), by striking ‘‘December 31, 2006’’ and inserting ‘‘December 31, 2008’’. SEC. 3 .C U STO M S USER FEES.
