(a) D ESIGNAT I O N. — Forest Service trail number 3 590 in the Willamette National Forest in Lane County, O regon, which is a 19. 6 mile trail that begins and ends at North Waldo Campground and circumnavigates Waldo Lake, is hereby designated as a national recreation trail under section 4 of the National Trails System A ct (16 U.S.C. 1243) and shall be known as the ‘ ‘ J im Weaver Loop Trail ’ ’. (b) INTE RP RETI V E SIGN.—Using funds available for the Forest Service, the Secretary of Agriculture shall prepare, install, and maintain an appropriate sign at the trailhead of the Jim Weaver Loop Trail to indicate the name of the trail and to provide informa- tion regarding the life and career of Congressman Jim Weaver. (1) LIG H T STATION.—The term ‘‘Light Station’’ means Piedras Blancas Light Station. (2) O U TSTAN D ING NATURA L AREA.—The term ‘‘Outstanding Natural Area’’ means the Piedras Blancas H istoric Light Sta- tion Outstanding Natural Area established pursuant to sub- section (c). (3) PU B LI C LANDS.—The term ‘‘public lands’’ has the meaning stated in section 103(e) of the Federal Land Policy and M anagement Act of 19 7 6 (43 U.S.C. 1703(e)). (4) SECRETAR Y .—The term ‘‘Secretary’’ means the Secretary of the Interior. (b) FINDINGS.—Congress finds as follows: (1) The publicly owned Piedras Blancas Light Station has nationally recognized historical structures that should be pre- served for present and future generations.
