(2) $138,683,000 to carry out the National Center for Health Statistics surveys; (3) $30,880,000 for Public Health Informatics; (4) $4 7 ,036,000 for Health M arketing; ( 5 ) $31,170,000 to carry out Public Health R esearch; and (6) $ 9 1,724,000 to carry out research activities within the National O ccupational Research Agenda: Provided further, That none of the funds made available for in j ury prevention and control at the Centers for D isease Control and Prevention may be used, in whole or in part, to advocate or promote gun control: Provided further, That of the funds made available under this heading, up to $1,000 per eligible employee of the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention shall be made available until expended for Individual L earning Accounts: Provided further, That the Director may redirect the total amount made available under authority of Public Law 101 – 502, section 3, dated November 3, 1990, to activities the Director may so designate: Provided further, That the Committees on Appropriations of the House of Representatives and the Senate are to be notified promptly of any such redirection: Provided further, That not to exceed $20,787,000 may be available for making grants under section 1509 of the PHS Act to not less than 21 States, tribes, or tribal organizations: Provided further, That notwithstanding any other provision of law, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention shall award a single contract or related contracts for development and construction of the next building or facility designated in the B uildings and F acilities Master Plan that collectively include the full scope of the project: Provided further, That the solicitation and contract shall contain the clause ‘ ‘availability of funds ’ ’ found at48CFR52 . 232–18: Provided further, That of the funds appro- priated, $10,000 shall be for official reception and representation expenses when specifically approved by the Director of the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention: Provided further, That employees of the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention or the Public Health Service, both civilian and Commissioned Officers, detailed to States, municipalities, or other organizations under authority of section 214 of the PHS Act, or in overseas assignments, shall be treated as non-Federal employees for reporting purposes only and shall not be included within any personnel ceiling applicable to the Agency, Service, or the Department of Health and Human Services during the period of detail or assignment. In addition, for necessary expenses to administer the E nergy Employees Occupational Illness Compensation Program Act, $55,358,000, to remain available until expended, of which $4,500,000 shall be for use by or in support of the Advisory Board on Radiation and Worker Health (‘‘the Board’’) to carry out its statutory responsibilities, including obtaining audits, technical assistance, and other support from the Board’s audit contractor Contrac t s.N ot if ication.
