RES. 58. 1880. 599 comfortable quarters for so large a number of invited guests expected to be present on the great occasion: Therefore, Be it resolved by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled, That the Secretary of War be "Gate City · and is hereby authorized to lend to said “Gate City Guard" four hun g=¤Md»"ofA*¤¤t¤, dyed tents, if they can be conveniently spared, for the purpose of *},.6,1,,8 1mm_ eneamping said soldiery for a few days during their attendance upon the eeremonies aforesaid: Provided, That said tents be transported to Promogmd from Atlanta, Georgia, without expense to the United States: And P¢‘oo€¤o· provided further : That ample security be given to the Secretary of War to be judged of by him, that the said tents shall be returned in good condition immediately after their use as aforesaid.
