Ch. 263. 1882, Buildings for For buimiugs for schools: For the purchase of sims, when necessary, ¤<=b<>¤l¤· f and the erection and completion of three [mildings for primary and dg? °h‘"° ° intermediate schools, one twelve-mon; buildmg, to be crgctcd in the iirst school division, one eight-room building to be erected m the fourth school division, and one eight-room building to be erected in the savcnth school division between First and Seventh streets northwest, Pmvinoo. niqcty-six thousand aiollurs: Provided, That the plans and spcciiicutions for each of said buildings shall be prepared by the inspector of buildings of the District of Columbia, and shall be approved by the architect of the capitol and the Commissioners of the District, and said buildin gs shall be constructed by the Commissioners in conformity therewith, and shall be contracted for before the first day of September next, and iinished before the fnrst day of August eight hundred and eighty- three; to be appropriated as follows, namely: For the first school division, fortyeight thousand dollars; for the fourth school division, twenty-fom- thousand dollars; and for the seventh school division, twenty-fom- thousand dollars: And provided further, That tha cntirecost of sites, buildings and heating the same! and all expenditures on account of said buildings and grounds shall m no event exceed the sum of ninety-six thousand dollars. _: For addition to school-building on sate owned by the District ucar Howard University to be wmplctad by the first day of September next, three thousand three hundred and eighteen dollars, or so much thereof as may be necessary; and for the purchase of lots in rear of Anacostia school-house, fronting 011 J cifcrson street, seven hundred and fifty dql- Pro:-ico. lars: Provided, That the act of Congress approved the sixth day of MW.
