Contingent expenses: For stationery, freight, express-charges, fuel, Centingvut ¤x· lights, subsistence and care of horses, repairs of harness, for paper, twine, P°““°“· and gum for folding-room, advertising, telegraphing, dry-goods, soap, brushes, brooms, mats, oils, paints, glass, lumber, hardware, ice, purchasing supplies, washing towels, actual traveling expenses while on the business of the Department, and other miscellaneous supplies and expenses not otherwise provided tor, and necessary for the practical 4 and etlzicient work of the Department, fifteen thousand dollars.
