F<>b¤’¤¤17 22, 1889; Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled, That the Secretary gggggémm of the Interior be, and he is hereby, authorized and directed to place ` upon the pension-roll the name of John J. Brown, who was a private 1n Captain Peter Vance’s companp of Colonel Leib’s Regiment of · Illinois Mounted Riflemen in the lack Hawk war, and pay him a pension of twenty dollars per month. Approved, February 22, 1889. CHAP. 195.-An act granting a pension to Charlotte Ayres. February 22, 1889. Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States af America in Congress assembled, That the Secretary ¤b¤d<>¤wAyre¤» of the Interior be, and he is hereby, authorized to place upon the P°m“°"‘ ` pension-roll, subject to the provisions and limitations of the fpension aws, the name of Charlotte Ayers, the dependent mother 0 Benjamin Ayres, a private soldier of Company I, Fifth Regiment Kansas Cavalry. Approved, February 22, 1889. CHAP. 196.-An act to provide increase of pension to James Waters, formerly Febmm-y22, 1869. of Captain Weatherbye’s company of Pennsylvania Militia., war of eighteen hundred ?”""‘w’ and twelve. Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled, That the Secretary g:;¤S\¢ju‘Y;*g3¤· l of the Interior be, and he is hereby, authorized and directed to increase the pension of James Waters, formerly a member of Captain Weatherbye’s company of Pennsylvania Militia, and who was in the military service in the war of eig teen hundred and twelve, to forty dollars per month, in lieu of the pension he is now receiving. Approved, February 22, 1889. CHAP. 197.-An act granting a pension to Rebecca D. Vedder. Febngrizg msn. Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled, That the Secretary Rebecca D.Ve<1der. of the Interior be, and he is hereby, authorized and directed to place P°"s‘°”3 upon the pension-roll, subject to the Iprovisions and limitations of the ension laws, the name of Rebecca .Vedder, steip-mother of Edwin lil. Vedder, late of Company A, Third Regiment ew York Cavalry, and pay her a pension at the rate of twelve dollars per month. Approved, February 22, 1889. CHAP. 198.-An act to place the name of James H. Tolly on the pension-roll. Februm-y 22, 1889.
