L*’¤'°¤°°· Kn'- For support and education of four hundred and fifty Indian pupils, at one hundred and seventy-five dollars per annum each, necessary out-buildings, repairs, and fencing, at the Indian school at Lawrence, Kansas, and for pa of superintendent of said school, at two thousand dollars, eighty-iiyve thousand and Eve hundred dollars; for the re air and improvement of the wagon road leading from the cit ofp Lawrence to such school, seven thousand and five hundred dollars, or so much thereof as may be necessary; 8¤1>v¤v<>¢*¤*¤‘· For the pur se of securing additional and better water supply for the use of suchoschool, the Secretarppf the Interior is authorized to contract with the Lawrence Water orks Company for such supply for aperiod not exceeding live years, and for the payment on account thereof for the fiscal year eighteen hundred and eightygnine, the sum of one thousand dollars, or so much thereof as may necessary, is hereby a propriated; in all, ninety-four thousand dollars.
