Whereas, pprsuant to Section three of the Act of Congress ap- proved Octo r 1, 1890, entitled "An Act to reduce the revenue and‘ egualize duties on wows, and for other purposes," the Secretary A”‘°·P·°‘2· o State of the Uni States of America communicated to the Gov- · ernment of the United States of Brazil the action of the Con ress of the United States of America, with a view to secure reci roc5 trade, in declarin the articles enumerated in said Section tllree, to wit, sugars, molasses, cofee and hides, to be exempt from duty upon their importation into the United States of America; And whereas the Envoy Extraordinary and Minister Plenipotentiary of Brazil at Washington has communicated to the Secretary of State the fact that, in due reciprocity for and consideration of the admission into the United States of America free of all duty of· the articles enumerated in Section three of said Act, the Government of Brazil hw, by legal enactment, authorized the admission, from and after April 1, 1891, into all the established ports of entry of Brazil, free of all duty, whether national, state, or municipal, of the articles or merchandise named in the following schedule, [govided that the same be the product and manufacture of the nited States of America: —1.—SCHEDULE or Aaricnns ro sm Anurrrmn rams mro saszxn. m{f°,},$],°¤Bm,,•*{m***d .
