Phelps. p_ Mw W Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the Obzited States of America in Congress assembled, That the Secretary of the Eglxgg §;ic*;§,f;§,§; Interior be, and he is hereby, authorized and directed to place on the pension roll, subject to the provisions and limitations of the pension aws, the name of Edward F. Phelps, late of Company G, Forty-seventh Regiment Massachusetts Volunteer Infantry, and pay him a pension at the rate of thirty dollars per month in lieu of that he is now receiving. Approved, May 22, 1900. CHAP. 535.-—An Act Granting an increase of pension to Jacob N. Smith. May 22. 1900- Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatires of the Udlllletl States of America in Cbngress assembled, That the Secretary of the §;j]‘;§O§—i§j;Q;;éd Interior be, and he is hereby, authorized and directed to place on the` pension roll, subject to the §rovisions and limitations of the [gension laws, the name of Jacob N. mith, late of Company C, Sixteent Regi— ment Iowa Volunteer Infantry, and pay him a pension at the rate of thirty dollars per month in lieu of that he is now receiving.
