Be it enacted by the Senate and House §fR¢yn·esentatives of the United States of America in Cbngress assemble , That that portion of section ‘}§,jf,’;’mQ,§;,fim{)Y· twenty-two of the Act approved May second, eighteen hundred and wm¤1m,em.,r¤m.,¤’§ ninety, entitled "An Act to rovide a temporary government for the {’§’$§’,§,,t§{,§°‘§$'§§f‘°°“ Territory of Oklahoma, to enislrge the jurisdiction of the United States V°l· 2*% P- 91- court in the Indian Territory, and for other urposes," providing for the commutation for town-site purposes of homestead entries in certain instances, be, and the same is hereby, made a plicable to the lands in the Territory of Oklahoma ceded to the Ulinted States by the Wichita and affiliated bands of Indians and the Comanche, Kiowa, and Apache tribes of Indians, under agreements, res ectivel , ratined by the Acts of Congress of March second, eighteen hundred and ninety- {’,§{j§·,{{·§§’é· five, and June sixth, nineteen hundred. ’ Approved, March 11, 1902. That a laboratory shall be provided and fitted up by the ontmg- emmgte. Washington Gaslight Company, sweet to the approval of the inspector, in the central part of the city of ashington, at a distance as near as may be of two thousand feet from any gas works, and furnished with suitable apparatus for the transaction of the business of the inspector and assistant inspector, for which it is intended; and the laboratory shall be kept open on all business days between the hours of nine _ o’clock in the forenoon and four o’clock in the afternoon: Provided, P"'"""" That the cost of fitting up said laboratory shall be paid for by each Exp°""°s‘ gas company in the District of Columbia in proportion to their sale of gas for the year eighteen hundred and seventy-three.” Approved, March 11, 1902.
