` Be it enacted by the Senate and House of R¥>resen-tatwhaes of the United

 States of Amerzea in Congress assembled, That the Secretary of the

¤¤rvic<·» Treasury be, and he is hereby, authorized to purchase or have constructed for the customs service a suitable launch, of such motive power as may be determined by the Secretary of the Treasuiéy, for use at and in the vicinity of Astoria, Oregon; and the cost thereo shall not exceed the sum of ten thousand dollars.
