Skidmore, R¤i¤¤\>¤¤¤¤¤=e¤¤· of Gaston County, North Carolina, by the United States Treasury, the same being for internal-revenuestamps purchased by him from the United States Government to cover taxes on two several packa es of spirits, numbered one hundred and thirty-eight and one hundred and t irty-nine, produced in the month of May, eighteen hundred and ninety-six, by the said Skidmore, which stamps were lost in the mail and never receivedby him. · Approved, February 23, 1905. .
