een hundred and sixty-six, by honorable George Bancroft, on the life and character of Abraham Lincoln, late President of the United States; on February twenty-seventh, eighteen hundred and eighty-two, by honorable James G. Blaine, on the life and character of James A. Garfield, late President of the United States; on February twenty-seventh, nineteen hundred, by honorable John Hay on the life and character of William McKinley, late President of the United States, twelve thousand copies of which shall be for the use of the House of Representatives and five thousand copies for the use of the Senate.

The Joint Committee on Printing is hereby authorized to have the copy prepared for the Public Printer.

ADJOURNMENT. Resolved by the House of Representatives (the Senate concurring),That the President of the Senate and the Speaker of the House of presentatives be authorized to close the present session by adjourning their respective Houses on the twenty-eighth day of April, nineteen hundred and four, at two o’clock post meridian.
