[Public, No. 309.] Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatr}ves of the United States of America in Congress assembled, That from and after the Drigzictggggzgggapassage of this Act so much of Sixth street in Center Eckington, Eckingtion,vacated.’ excepting that part lying between the north and south building lines ,,§°"°”‘?“ '° `°“’“' of V street, shall be completely vacated and abandoned for public use and shall revert to the abutting property owners on the west side of said Sixth street, and the Commissioners of the District of Columbia are hereby authorized to permit the extension and construction of Swings P'°’mi“°d· two railroad sidings across V street, between Fifth street and the Baltimore and Ohio Railroad right of way: Provided, That the sidings 1mm. shall not be maintained at the grade of the street after the extension NM °“ g"‘d°‘ of V street across and to the east of the present right of way of the Baltimore arid Ohio Raglroad. d Oh , 1 Sec. 2. Sec. 3. That the Commissioners of the District of Columbia are E($§g$>¤¤d· *]**1**** hereby authorized to close the existing alley in block twenty-one, ` Center Eckington, upon the application of the owners of all of the - property abutting thereon. Sec. 4. This Act may at any time be amended or repealed, and no Am°¤dm°¤*·°*° party shall be entitled to damages or to compensation of any kind in case the sidings or structures authorized by this Act are required to be discontinued or removed. ` Approved, June 27, 1906.
