[s·2"”·l · [Public, No. 239.] Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Rap·resenm¢e}vcs of the United States of America in Congress assembled, That the President of the H§&;g__§:¤Y¤¤ FM- United States is hereb authorized to designate such areas in the rmwcuoii or wud Grand Canyon Forest lgeserve as should, in his opinion, be set aside “1$‘j,“‘;}§.h3_ for the protection of game animals and be recognized as a breeding ' place therefor.` Sec. 2. That when such areas have been desi ated as rovided in H“'*“°8· °°°·· ‘¤*· . . . . gn. P . nvm. section one of this Act, huntm , trapping, k1llmg, or capturing of game animals upon the lands of gm United States within the limits of said areas shall be unlawful, except under such regulations as may be prescribed from time to time by the Secretary of Agriculture; and ’°°“°Y· any person violating such regulations or the provisions of this Act shall be deemed guilty of u misdemeanor, and shall, upon conviction in any United States court of competent jurisdiction, be fined inssum not exceeding one thousand dollars, or by imprisonment for u. period not exceeding one year. or shall suffer both fine and imprisonment, in the discretion of the court.
