[H‘R‘1°4°3‘] Alabama, for judgment and costs rendered against him when acting in the service [ri-lvm, No. 21::6.] of the United States. Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatv}ves of the United §·€‘{’,‘,fb States of America in Congress assembled, That the Secretary of the ` Treasury be, and he is hereby, authorized and directed to pay, out of any mone in the Treasury not otherwise appropriated, the sum of four hundred and thirty-four dollars and fifty-five cents to Osca1· Fulgham, ex-sheriff of Madison County, Alabama, to reimburse him for ]udgment and costs rendered against him by the State courts, resulting from his action while he was sheriii of Madison County, Alabama, in recovering three mules, at the request of General Coppiner, who was in the command of the Federal troops statione at Tluntsville, Alabama, during the winter of eighteen hundred and ninety-eight and eighteen hundred and ninety~nine, which were stolen from the corral at the camp of the troops stationed at Huntsville, Alabama, during the winter of eighteen undred and ninety-eight and eighteen hundred and ninety~nine. * Approved, March 1, 1907.
