WHEREAS, it is provided by the act of Congress approved March R9ge}.§,‘,§{},;‘ ¥,‘,‘¥§f‘ 3, 1905, entitled, "An act making appropriations for the current and grengilbie-,1070 contingent expenses of the Indian Department and for fulfilling Aggie, ,i_°;;u9_ Z treat stipulations with various Indian tribes for the fiscal year ending gime thirtieth, nineteen hundred and six, and for other pur- V poses ”, that “Before the opening of the Uintah Indian Reservation, . the President is hereby authorized to set apart and reserve any reservoir site or other lands necessary to conserve the water supply for -the Indians or for neral agricultural development, and may confirm such rights am?} water thereon as have already accrued "; And whereas, it is considered necessary to serve the purposes of the act referred to that certain lands in the Uintah Indian Reservation be withdrawn for the urposes indicated; Now therefore, I, Theodore Roosevelt, President of the United , orIg‘;'},‘}:ns'°°°"°d States, by virtue of the power in me vested by the aforesaid act of i Congress, approved March third, nineteen hundred and five, do hereby make known and proclaim that certain lands in the Uintah Indian Reservation are hereby withdrawn from disposal, for reservoir site necessary to conserve the water su ly for the Indians, or for general agricultural development, the folliiwing described lands: Auk1cULTun.u.: A8¤‘*¢¤l*¤¤‘¤l l¤¤d¤· All Sections thirty-two (32), thirty-three (33) and thirty-four ° (34), Township one(1) South, Range five (5) West; all Sections two (2), three (3), four (4), ten (10), eleven(11), twelve (12), thirteen (13), fourteen (14), fifteen (15), south half of Section sixteen (16), south-west quarter of Section seventeen (17), and all Sections eighteen (18) to thirty-six (36) inclusive, Township two (2) South, Range one (1) WVest; south half of north-east quarter, south half of northwest quarter, southiwest quarter and south-east quarter of Section twenty-five (25), south half of north—east quarter, south half of north-west quarter, south-west quarter and south—east quarter of Section twenty-six (26), north-east quarter, north-west quarter, north half of south—west quarter and north half of south-east quarter of Section thirty-tive and all of Section thirty-six 36), Township two (2) South, Range three (3) IVest; all Sections three (3) to » eleven (11), inclusive, all Sections fourteen (14) to thirty-two (32), inclusive, and west half of Section thirty-three (33), Township two (2) South.
