Ugg; j~=·¤l¤** M- That, for the purpose of further increasing the navalestablisment ` p" of the United States, the President is hereby authorized to have constructed, two tirst—class battle ships to cost, exclusive of armor and armament, not exceeding six million dollars each, similar in all essen- "··*·3*·P·”°"· tial characteristics to the battle ship authorized by the Act making- _ appropriations for the naval service for the iiscal year ending June n£Q_·§‘_j;;,}j¢ '""“ **** t irtieth nineteen hundred and eigiht.
