When the duty assessed upon any wool equals three times or more that which would be assessed if sa1d wool was imported unwashed, the dut shall not be doubled on account of the wool being sorted. If any lirale or w§,*}1§§ ,f,g§§,§i§Q,_‘;§ package of wool or hair specified in this Act invoiced or entered as of any specified class, or c aimed by the importer to be dutiable as of any specified class, shall contain any wool or hair subject to a higher - rate of duty than the class so specified, the whole bale or package shall be subject to the highest rate of duty chargeable on wool of the class subject to such higher rate of duty, and if any bale or package be claimed by the importer to be shoddy, mungo, flocks, wool, hair, or other material of any class specified in this Act, and such bale contain any admixture of any one or more of said materials, or of any other material, the whole ba e or package shall be subject to duty at the highest rate imposed upon any artic e in said bale or package. 369. The duty upon all wools and hair of the first class shall be §_.*,?r;Q·c,8SS_ eleven cents per pound, and upon all wools or hair of the second class Second elm. twelve cents_ per pound. 370. On wools of the third class and on camel’s hair of the third “""l °*"“· class the value whereof shall be twelve cents or less pler ound, the duty shall be four cents per ound. On wools of the class, and on camel’s hair of the third class, the value whereof shall exceed twelve cents per pound, the duty shall be seven cents pe? pound. 371 . The duty on wools on the skin shall be one cent ess per pound 0¤ the ¤¤¤· than is imposed in this schedule on other wools of the same class · and condition, the quantity and value to be ascertained under such rules as the Secretary of the Treasury may prescribe. 372. Top waste, slubbing waste, roving waste, ring waste, and Wmgametted waste, thirty cents per pound. 373. Shoddgetwenty-Eve cents per pound; noils, wool extract, Sh<·ddY· °*¤· yarn waste, t ad waste, and all other wastes composed wholly or in part of wool, and not specially provided for in this section, twenty cents pearpound. 374. oolen rags, mungo, and flocks, ten cents per pound. “°““· °"`· 375. On combe wool or tops, made wholly or in part of wool or °""“’°°‘ camel’s hair, valued at not more than twenty cents per pound, the duty per pound shall be two and one-fourth times the duty imposed by this schedule on one pound of unwashed wool of the rst class; valued at more than twenty cents per pound, the duty per {pound shall be three and one-third times the dutg imposed by this sc edule on one pound of unwashed wool of the rst class; and in addition thereto, upon all the foregoing, thirty per centum ad valorem. 376. Wool and hair which have been advanced in any manner or w:S§1;g¤§fdm,§r°gg¤d by any process of manufacture beyond the washed or scoured condi- ` tion, not specially provided for in this section, shall be subject to the same duties as are imposed upon manufactures of wool not specially provided for in this section. _ 377. On yarns made wholly or in part of wool, valued at not more Y“’““‘ than thirty cents per pound, the duty per pound shall be two and one-half tunes the dut imposed by this section on one ound of unwashed wool of the first dlass, and in addition thereto thirty-five per centum ad valorem ; valued at more than thirty cents per pound, the duty per pound shall be three and one-half times the duty imposed by this section on one pound of unwashed wool of the first class, and in addition thereto fort per centum ad valorem. _ 378.
