F. ewcom in · the case of the United States of America against J. F. Newcomb, heretofore pending in the United States court for the eastern district of Texas, at Pans, Texas, on iinal judgment rendered after said J . F. Newcomb, the principal in said bond, had been a prehended throu h the information and assistance of the said C. W. liieid and Sam Dauie and after he had been convicted in said court upon the char e of incest, the offense for which he was under bond to appear in saidg case of the United States of America against J. F. Newcomb, the said sum of six hundred and eighty-eight ollars and twenty-four cents being the amount left after deducting from the total amount of said bail` bond the expense incurred by the government in ap rehending Newcomb, less the sum of one hundred and twenty-five dollars advanced by Reid and Daube to aid in the recapture.
