Treasury be, and he is hereby, authorized and directed to pay to Phoebe Clark, of Helena, Lewis and Clark County, in the State of Montana, the surn of one hundred and sixteen dollars, for a typewriter and necessary repairs thereon, which said tépewriter was furnished and used by her as transcribing clerk in the 0 ce of the United States surveyor general of the State of Montana, exclusively for Government work, and which said typewriter, and the repairs thereon, were necessary for a proper performance of her duty as such transcribing clerk.
