That nothing contained in the Act of August twently- Saa.mCe2'£’4a,°"‘ ninth, nineteen hundre and sixteen, shall operate to disturb the V°‘·3°·P·“"- relative position of officers in the Medical Corps with reference to precedence or promotion, but all such officers otherwise qualified shall be advanced in rank with or ahead of officers in said corps who were their juniors on the date of said Act. Sec. 18.
