Res., N0. 4.] Resolved by the Senate (the House of Representatives concurring), That a joint commission is hereby created, to be known as the Jomt erlculwral lll- Commission of Agricultural Inquiry which shall consist of five Sena- miiiliit oommimion or tors, three of whom shall be members of the majorit party and two gS§@‘§{,$,,°‘,@;‘,,,QF§PQ°g of whom shall be members of the minority party, to be appointed by ljgvesllsew ¤¤<l rerwrl the President of the Senate, and five Representatives, three of whom ' shall be members of the majority party and two of whom shall be members of the minorit party, to be appointed by the Speaker. The causes of the present condition of agriculture. 2. The cause of the difference between the prices of agricultural products paid to the producer and the ultimate cost to the consumer. 3. The comparative condition of industries other than agriculture. 4. The relation of prices of commodities other than agricultural products to such products. 5. The banking and financial resources and credits of the country, especially as aflecting a `cultural credits. 6.
