That any person or persons violating any of the ` provisions of this Act, or of any of the regulations promulgated hereunder, shall, on conviction, be pimished or the first offense by a fine of not more than $10; for the second offense by a fine of not more than $50, and for any subsequent offenses within one year, a fine of not more than $500, or by imprisonment in the workhouse for not more than thirty days, or by both such fine and imprisonment, in the discretion of the court, and in addition any license issued 1, 0§*c‘§°m°y“°¤¤ *¤ P°· under authority of this Act may be revoked.
