Ch. 468. 1925. 1211 ances, medical examinations, funeral and other incidental expenses (including transportation of remains), traveling expenses, and supplies, and not exceeding $100,000 for library books, magazines, and papers for beneficiaries of the United States Veterans’ Bureau, including court costs and other expenses incident to proceedings heretofore or hereafter taken for commitment of mentally incompetent persons to hospitals for the care and treatment of the insane, $35,000,000 , This appropriation shall be disbursed by the United States Vet- 1ee]2e`iibi1;i;’>°;l:§§°$ia$i,s°l1` erans’ Bureau, and such portion thereof as may be necessary shall · be allotted from time to time to the Public Health Service, and the War,_Navy, and Interior Departments, and transferred to their credit for disbursement by them for the purposes set forth in the foregoing paragraph; and al otted and transferred to the Board of Managers of the National Home for Disabled Volunteer Soldiers for the purposes set forth in the foregoing para aph, and such sums as are allotted to the Board of Managers shahrbe covered into the surplus fund of the Treasury.
