Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Re esentatiwves of the Jig? °xp°m°°°t United States of America in Congress assembgd, That in order saaununuumur- to determine and demonstrate the best methods for the growing §».iil¤1>?i¤¤y°i°%li§E management, and protection of timber crops on forest lands and ”°‘*""°'*”' ““"°“· farm wood lots, the Secretary of Agriculture is hereby authorized and directed to establish and maintain a forest experiment station at such place or places as may be determined as most suitable by ts M him, in cooperation with the State of Pengsylvania and with the axgimn ’ " neighboring States, and to conduct such silvi tural and other forest experiments and investigations as may be necessary, either inde- pendently or in cooperation with other organizations institutions, ,,,,{”‘°"”‘ ‘°"‘°"“° or individuals, and that to carry out the purposes of this Act an F¤·*·¤·°°°- appropriation in the amount of $30,000 is hereby authorized.
