Food habits of birds and animals : For investigating the food habits of North Ameri can birds and other animal s in relation to agricul- ture, horticulture, and forestry ; for experiments, demonstrations, and cooperation in destroying mountain lions, wolves, coyotes, bobcats, prairie dogs, gophers, ground squirrels, jack rabbits, and other ani- mals inj urio us t o ag ricu ltur e, h orti cult ure, forestry, animal hus- bandry, and wild game ; and for the protection of stock and other domestic animals through the suppression of rabies in predatory wild animals, $633,273 . Production of fur-bearing animals : For investigations, ex pe ri- ments, demonstrations, and cooperation in connection with the pro- duction and utilization of fur-bearing animals raised for meat and fur, in the United States and Alaska, $51,200 .
