Check by office of exchange. XIV. Check by Office of Exchange. Duty office. of receiving 1) On the receipt of a Parcel Mail, the receiving Office of Ex- change shall check it. The in- sured parcels must be carefully compared with the accompanying bills. Any discrepancies or irre~ ularities noted shall be immedi- ately reported to the dispatching office of exchange by means of a bulletin of verification. If report is not made promptly, it will be assumed that the Mail and the accompanying bills were in every respect in proper order. XIV. PriUung durch das Auswechslungsamt. 1) Bei der Uebernahm€l eines Paketkartenschlusses priift das empfangende Auswechslungaamt den Kartenschluss. Die versi- cherten Pakete sind sorgfii.ltig mit den Begleitpapieren zu verglei- chen. Abweichungen und Unregel- massigkeiten sind sofort dem ab- fertigenden Auswechslungsamt mittels Rilckmeldung bekanntzu- geben. Erfolgt eine solche Ver- stiindigung nicht sofort, gilt die Annahme, dass der Kartenschluss und die begleitenden Papiere in jeder Beziehung in voller Ord- nung sind. 2) Falls iI'gendwelche Wider- spriiche und Unregelmassigkeiten in einem Kartenschluss festge- stellt werden, so ist eine Verhand- lungschrift aufzunehmen, die aIle Angaben hinsichtlich des Vor- falles enthii.lt, die fUr eine all- fii.llige nachfolgende N achfor- schung oder Ersatzverhandlung erforderlich sind. 3) Wenn die !!'rachtkarte fehlt, stellt das empfa:agende Auswechs- lungsamt ein Doppel aus und iibermittelt eine Abschrift des- selben an das abfertigende Aus- wechslungsamt. 4) Wenn versicherte Pakete deutliche Spuren von Verletzung oder Beschiidigung tragen, muss dies auf ihnen vermerkt und der Stempel des Amtes aufgedriickt werden, das die Verletzung wahr-
