Ac t, United States o America in Congress assembled That the follow- ing sums are appropriated, out of any money in the Treasury not o therwise appr opriated, to supply urgent deficiencies in certain appropriations for the fiscal year ending June 30, 1930, and prior fiscal years, to provide urgent supplemental appropriations for the fiscal years ending June 30, 1930, and June 30, 1931, and for other purposes, namely LEGISLATIVE Legislative . CHAP. 91 .-Joint Resolut ion Aut horizing the Sec retary o f War to receiv e, for instruction at the United States Military Academy at We st Point, Senor Guillerm o Gomez, a citi zen of C olombia . Resolved by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States o f America in Congr ess assembled, That the Secretar y of War be, and he hereby is, authorized to permit Senor Guillermo Gomez, to receive instruction at t he United States Military Aca demy at West Point : Provided, That no expense shall be caused to the United States thereby, and tha t Senor G uillermo Gomez s hall agr ee to com ply with all regulations for the police and discipline of the academy, to be studious, and to give his utmost efforts to accomplish the courses in the various departments of instruction, and that said Senor Guil- lermo Gomez shall not be admitted to the academy until he shall have passed the mental and physical examination prescribed for candidates from the United States and that he shall be immediately withdrawn if deficient in studies or in conduct and so recommended by the academic board : Provided further, That in the case of said Senor Guillermo Gomez the provisions of sections 1320 and 1321 of the Revised Statutes shall be suspended .
