501 (1) M IxED CLAIMS .-Germany shall pay in full satisfaction of its obligations remaining unpaid on account of awards, including inter- est thereon, entered and to be entered by the Mixed Claims Commis- sion, United States and Germany, an aggregate amount of 2,1 21,600,00 0 reichs marks to be evid enced by bonds of Germany which shall be dated September 1, 1929, and, except for the first foB onds t eba issued which shall mature March 31, 1930, shall be paid in semiannual annual September ins tall men ts installments beginning September 30, 1930, and continuing up to and to from

31,1 981 . 1929, including March 31, 1981, subject, however2 to the right of Germany to make such payments in three-year periods, any postponed pay- ments to bear interest at 5 per centum per annum, payable semiannu- ally. The obligations of Germany hereinabove set forth in this paragraph shall cease as soon as all the payments contemplated by the Settl ement of War Claims Act of 1928 have b een completed and the bonds not then mat ured evidenci ng such obli gations shall be can- celed and returned to Germany . (2) ARMY COSTS ARREARS .-~'rermany shall pay in full reimburse- ment of the amount s remaining d ue on accoun t of the cost s of the United States ar my of occupation an aggregate amount of 1,048,100,000 reichsmarks to be evidenced by bonds of Germany which shall be dated September 1, 1929, and, except for the first, which shall mature March 31, 1930, shall be paid in semiannual installments begin ning Septembe r 30, 1930, a nd continuin g up to and i ncluding March 31, 1966, subject, however, to the right of Germany to make such payments in three-year periods, any postponed payments to bear interest at 35/8 per centum per annum, payable semiannually . (3) In addition to the payment of the bonds maturing on March 31 or September 30 of any year Germany shall have the right on such dates to make payments on account of any unmatured bonds of either ser ies under such conditions as to notice or otherwise as the Secretary of the Treasury may prescribe . (4) All bonds issued hereunder shall be payable in United States gold coin in an amount in dollars equivalent to the amount due in reichsmarks . Germany shall undertake for the purposes of the Agree ment that the reichsmark s hall have an d shall retai n a mint parity of 1/2790 kilogram of fine gold . Mixed claims . Aggregate amount . Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the U nited States of America in Congress ass embled, Tha t t he co nse nt New °n Yor k may of Congres s is hereby granted to the St ate of New York to construct, br idge, a t Catsk ill, mai ntain, an d operat e a high way brid ge and ap proaches thereto across the Hudson River, at a point suitable to the interests of navi- gation, at or near Catskill, Greene County, New York, in accordance with the provisions of an Act entitled " An Act to regulate the con- struction of bridges over navigable waters," approved March 23, 1906, and subject to the conditions and limitations contained in this Act.
