Authorizing the Secretary of the Interior, with the approval of the National ]Public, No. 2i1 .] Capital Park and Planning Commission and the Attorney General of the United States, to ma ke equitable adjustm ents of conflicting c laims between the United States and other claimants of lands along the shores of the Potomac River, Anacostia River, and Rock Creek in the District of Columbia . Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the District of Columbia . To exempt from taxation certain property of the National Society United States -[Public, No . 272 .1

Daughters of 1812 in the District of Columbia. Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled, That the prope rty situated in square numbered 210 in the city of Washington, District of Columbia, described as lot 811, occupied and used by the National Society United States Daughters of 1812, is hereby exempt from all taxation so long as the same is so occupied and used, subject to the provisions of section 8 of the Act of March 3, 1877, as amended and supplemented (D.C. United States of America in Congress assembled, That the street Designati on of Four- and-a-half Street south- des ignate d as " Four-a nd-a- half S treet" runn ing so uth fr om the west changed to Fourth Street . center of the Mall to P Street south be, and the same is hereby, changed to Fourth Street, thereby giving this street for its entire length from Pennsylvania Avenue northwest to P Street south the designation of Fourth Street .
