[CHAPTER 391 .] AN ACT To amend an Act entitled "An Act to establish a Board of Indeterminate Sentence and P arole for th e District o f Columbia an d to determi ne its funct ions, and fo r other purposes", approved July 15, 1932 . Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representativ es of the United States o f Am erica in Congr ess assembled, That the Act of Congress entitled "An Act to establish a Board of Indeterminate Sentence and Parole for the District of Columbia and to determine its functions, and for other purposes", approved July 15, 1932, be. and the same is hereby, amended by adding a new section to be' numbered " 10 " and to read as follows " SEC. 10 . The Board of Parole created by the Act of Congress entitled `An Act to amend an Act providing for the parole of United States prisoners, approved June 25, 1910, as amended', approved May 13, 1930, shall have and exercise the same power and authority over prisoners convicted in the District of Columbia of crimes against the United States and now or hereafter confined in any United States penitentiary or prison (other than the penal institu- tions of the District of Columbia) as is vested in the Board of Indetermi nate Sentence and Parole ov er prisoners confined in th e penal institutions of the District of Columbia ."
