Sec. 2. And be it further enacted, That the collector of the port Colleptcrto of Savannah be, and he is hereby, authorized and required to admit to “d"‘“"• entry, free of duty, the articles mentioned in the first section of this act, on the exhibition of the invoices and the oath of the said Gazaway B. Lamar, that the said articles are intended for the purposes herein before specified; or to cancel any bond or bonds which may be, or may have been, given by the said Gazaway B. Be it enacted, &c., That the Secretary of the Treasury be, and he is hereby, authorized to pay to Joseph M. Harper for so much Ezzmgumst money paid by him to satisfy a judgment obtained against him by Joseph Wheat, in the courts of New Hampshire, in the year one thousand eight hundred and thirteen, for the boarding and nursing of certain sick soldiers of the United States army, and to defray the expenses of defending such suit.
