Be it enacted, ef-c., That John Jeffers be, and he is hereby, author- May surrender ized to surrender the certificate which heretofore issued from the land gjdrggggjgcgg; office at Huntsville, Alabama, to John Sharp, and which was assigned ,,,;,6, ,_h,,,cg·,,,_ to said Jeffers by Dixon Staubach, as administrator of Stephen Heard, for the north-west quarter of section twenty-eight, township six, range two, west of the basis meridian of said land district; and upon such surrender of said certificate, and filing his relinquishment in said land office, the said John Jeffers shall be entitled to a certihcate from the Register and Receiver of said land office for the amount which has been paid on said lands, which shall be received in said office in pay- ment for any lands subject to entry in that land district.
