Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled, That the following sums are appropriated, out of any money in the Treasury not otherwise appropriated, to supply supplemental appropriations for the fiscal year ending June 30, 1952, and for other purposes, namely. CHAPTER I

For payment to Marjorie C. Wherry, widow of Kenneth S. Wherry, late a Senator from the State of Nebraska, $12,500, OFFICE OF THE SECRETARY
Effective April 15, 1952, the appropriation for salaries of officers and employees of the Senate contained in the Legislative Branch Appropriation Act for the fiscal year 1952 is made available for the compensation of one camera man. Joint Recording Facility, at the basic rate of $3,600 per annum. CONTINGENT EXPENSES OF THE SENATE
Folding documents: For an additional amount for folding speeches and pamphlets at a gross rate not exceeding $2 per thousand, $10,000. Senate restaurants: For an additional amount for Senate kitchens and restaurants, $25,000. HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES
For payment to Helen D. Whitaker, widow of John A. Whitaker, late a Representative from the State of Kentucky, $12,500: Provided, That the foregoing death gratuity payment, and any other death gratuity payment at any time specifically appropriated by this or any other Act or at any time made out of the contingent fund of the House of Representatives or of the Senate, shall be held to have been a gift. For payment to Barbara Y. Schwabe, widow of George B. Schwabe, late a Representative from the State of Oklahoma, $12,500. For payment to Lyla H. Murray, widow of Reid F. Murray, late a Representative from the State of Wisconsin, $12,500. For payment to Anna M. Byrne, and Elizabeth B. Turkenkoph, sisters of William T. Byrne, late a Representative from the State of New York, one-half to each, $12,500. SALARIES, OFFICERS AND EMPLOYEES
