For necessary expenses of the Bureau of Customs, including examination of estimates of appropriations in the field; expenses of attendance at meetings of organizations concerned with the purposes of this appropriation; purchase of fifty passenger motor vehicles for replacement only; arms and ammunition; and not to exceed $1,220,000 for personal services in the District of Columbia exclusive of ten persons from the field force authorized to be detailed under law (19 U.S.C. 1525); $41,'000,000.
