For compensation of Members (wherever used herein the term "Member" shall include Members of the House of Representatives, Delegates from Territories, and the Resident Commissioner from Puerto Rico), $9,897,000. For the Office of the Parliamentarian, including $2,000 for preparing the Digest of the Rules, $58,325. OFFICE OF THE CHAPLAIN
For the Office of the Chaplain, $7,450. OFFICE OF THE CLERK
For the Office of the Clerk, $931,955. COMMITTEEMPLOYEES
For committee employees, including not to exceed $435,000 for the Committee on Appropriations, $2,136,000. OFFICE OF THE SERGEANT AT ARMS
For the Office of the Sergeant at Arms, including $7,500 for additional clerical assistants, $494,770. OFFICE OF THE. DOORKEEPER
For the Office of the Doorkeeper, $862,700. SPECIAL AND MINORITY EMPLOYEES
For six minority employees, $70,935. For the office of the majority floor leader, including $2,000 for official expenses of the majority leader, $52,550. For the office of the minority floor leader, $39,800. For the office of the majority whip, $23,830. For the office of the minority whip, $23,830. For two printing clerks, one for the majority caucus room and one for the minority caucus room, to be appointed by the majority and minority leaders, respectively, $9,760. For a technical assistant m the office of the attending physician, to be appointed by the attending physician, subject to the approval of the Speaker, $7,790.
