AUTOMOBILE FOR THE CHIEF JUSTICE

For purchase, exchange, lease, driving, maintenance, and operation of an automobile for the Chief Justice of the United States, $5,835. COURT OF CUSTOMS AND PATENT APPEALS SALARIES AND EXPENSES

For salaries of the chief judge, four associate judges, and all other officers and employees of the court, and necessary expenses of the court, including exchange of books, and traveling expenses, as may be approved by the chief judge, $308,450. CUSTOMS COURT SALARIES AND EXPENSES

For salaries of the chief judge and eight judges; salaries of the officers and employees of the court; and necessary expenses of the court, including exchange of books, and traveling expenses, as may be approved by the chief judge; $699,620: Provided, That traveling expenses of judges of the Customs Court shall be paid upon the written certificate of the judge. COURT OF CLAIMS SALARIES AND EXPENSES

For salaries of the chief judge, four associate judges, and all other officers and employees of the court, and for other necessary expenses, including stenographic and other fees and charges necessary in the taking of testimony, and travel, $812,655. REPAIRS A N D IMPROVEMENTS

For necessary repairs and improvements to the Court of Claims buildings, to be expended under the supervision of the Architect of the Capitol, $9,000. COURTS OF APPEALS, DISTRICT COURTS, AND OTHER JUDICIAL SERVICES SALARIES OF JUDGES
