For purchase, exchange, lease, driving, maintenance, and operation of an automobile for the Chief Justice of the United States, $5,835. COURT OF CUSTOMS AND PATENT APPEALS SALARIES AND EXPENSES
For salaries of the chief judge, four associate judges, and all other officers and employees of the court, and necessary expenses of the court, including exchange of books, and traveling expenses, as may be approved by the chief judge, $308,450. CUSTOMS COURT SALARIES AND EXPENSES
For salaries of the chief judge and eight judges; salaries of the officers and employees of the court; and necessary expenses of the court, including exchange of books, and traveling expenses, as may be approved by the chief judge; $699,620: Provided, That traveling expenses of judges of the Customs Court shall be paid upon the written certificate of the judge.
