For the relief of Mary F. C. Leute, the widow of Joseph Henry Leute.

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled, That, in the administration of section 5 of the Act entitled "An Act to make certain increases in the annuities of annuitants under the Foreign Service retirement and disability system", approved May 1, 1956 (70 Stat. 125), Joseph Henry Leute, a vice consul of the United States who died on August 5, 1909, while en route to a new assignment with the Foreign Service, shall be deemed to have been a participant under the Foreign Service retirement and disability system within the meaning of such section at the time of his death. Approved September 6, 1958.
