Private Law 87-402 AN ACT For the relief of Mrs. Iris Ann Landrnni.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled, That Mrs. Iris Ann Landrum, of Rand, West Virginia, is hereby relieved of all liability to refund to the United States the sum of $399.70. Such sum represents the amount of certain payments made to Mrs. Iris A. Landrum as the result of an error made by the Department of the Army. I n the audit and settlement of the accounts of any certifying or disbursing officer of the United States, full credit shall be given for the amount for which liability is relieved by this Act. Private Law 87-403 AN ACT For the relief of Daniel E. Moore.
Be it eruicted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled, That the Secretary of the Treasury is authorized and directed to pay, out of any money in the Treasury not otherwise appropriated, to Daniel E. Moore the sum of $100 in full satisfaction of his claim against the United States for the loss of certain personal property taken by armed soldiers from his residence during the Battle of Vientiane in December 1960, wiiere lie was serving as Public Affairs Officer, United States Information Agency: Provided, That no part of the amount appropriated in this Act shall be paid or delivered to or received by any agent or attorney on account of services rendered in connection with this claim, and the same shall be unlawful, any contract to the contrary notwithstanding. Any person violating the provisions of this Act shall be deemed guilty of a misdemeanor and upon conviction thereof shall be fined in any sum not exceeding $1,000. Approved May 31, 1962.

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled, That the Secretary of the Treasury is authorized and directed to pay, out of any money in the Treasury not otherwise appropriated, to James N. Tull the sum of $597.47 in full satisfaction of his claim against the United States for the loss of certain pereonal property taken by armed soldiers from his residence during the Battle of Vientiane in December 1960, where lie Avas serving as Deputy Public Affairs Officer, United States Information Agency: Provided, That no part of the amount appropriated in this Act shall be paid or delivered to or received by any agent or iittorney on account of services rendered in connection with this claim, and the same shall be unlawful, any contract to the contrary notwithstanding.
